A story about myself, lets see where to begin? Well before crypto currency I was an xray technician for a private urgent care located in Santa Barbara CA. My job there was to make sure everything was good to go, assist the doctor with minor procedures, draw labs, administer medications, take the xrays, and then fit patients with needed medical equipment. My job was very fulfilling in the sense that i was helping people everyday to get better when they were feeling sick.

At the same time I was trying to start my own social media management company called Global Executive Media or G.E.M. for short. All this was very new to me and I was excited at the possibility of being my own business owner. Several months I spent working on the computer developing my network and social medias to reflect this new company i was trying to develop. Since working in crypto I have still had global executive media waiting in the background for the right time to expand.

While working as an xray tech I began to become fascinated with the financial markets. Spending hours of my lunch breaks and days off with my eyes glued to currency paired charts. I started gaining more and more interest in the forex markets as this seemed like something i could pick up. Soon I would open up my own brokerage account and start trading. Within a short period of time I had learned to read charts, draw up patterns and dis-cipher trade possibilities. While working around forex I found myself a trading team called Y.O.B (your own boss) through the trading education platform called imarketslive. Started trading with them for awhile and was doing a very good job. After awhile imarketslive started offering courses in crypto currency. I saw this and was immediate drawn to the ideas as btc was being talked about heavily. as soon as I bought my first bitcoin satoshis I was hooked.

Coming from working in the forex markets I was already used to seeing charts and predicting trades so as initial being a crypto investor I found several coins that were very interesting. Made some good trades and some bad ones, all while learning every step of the way. In my time as a crypto trader/investor I picked up many contacts and connections along the way. Soon realized there were a bunch of people like all looking around for good projects and trying to do their research. I then started to wonder how it would be to work on a crypto project. from there is where the current part of my story begins.

The first project I ever started working on was called GCN. Through working in their social medias and becoming a moderator I was able to start to see the back end of crypto currency. still while trying to be an investor and trader in different projects I felt like gcn was a place where i could make a difference. Working with other members of the team there I found myself doing a lot of back work such as connecting links, making posts, directing community, and working on new features for the coin. While doing this I was approached by another developer who liked the work I was doing and he asked me if I would help on his coin. The rebirth of penguin coin was soon at hand. Going from being a moderator to then starting a project rebuild can be a big step. At first I was so excited at the opportunity that it all seemed too good to be true. I soon found myself wondering what all I had gotten myself into.

Penguin Coin was a project that was on its way out with no developer and a community looking for direction. So being brought on by one of the soon new developers and a few of the big coin holders of the project the idea was to rebuild and make penguin coin one that people would talk about again. While in the process of updating the previous information for the coin there were some areas that needed to totally be redone in order for the project to continue. Making a swap from the old penguin coin to the new penguin coin was quiet a challenge but we were able to over come. Since doing the swap we have also done a rebrand from penguin coin to now the current Peng Coin. All in between there were many different things we did along the way to update the currency, provide a use case of being a charity donation currency, and also build new listings and partnerships for the network. All this very exciting during every step of the way.

While building Peng Coin there have been so many interesting people I have met along the way. From devs of different projects to founders of their own. All these people have been a great contributor to the accomplishments I have made to date. I like being able to meet new people and help where ever I can. Some of the projects I have helped work on are GCN, Peng Coin, Bitblocks, Crypto Fight Club, Omen Coin Elite, Gives Foundation, Peps Coin, Alpaca Coin, Marketplace, and Global Green.

My job now in crpto currency has lead me to be a project administrator, an adviser, a community moderator, a community leader, networking director, social media manager, and even a founder myself. I am very proud of all the people that have helped me along the way and a good team is worth its weight in gold. I look forward to the role I will play in the advancement of crypto currency and making this space that much better.
